TRAVELLING RETREATS
BEYOND MY WORLD
Travel is a peculiar experience: a spiritual pilgrimage, an exploration; encounters, joy, and transformation. But above all, travel helps to see and live the old in a new light.
Beyond My World is a dream come true – mine and my husband, Henrik’s. It is a form of travel that emphasizes the impact of the landscapes, built environment, communities, and cultures experienced during the journey on our inner world.
Many years of personal travel have resulted in the format we envisioned, and we blend it at the intersection of self-awareness, spirituality, and art.
We curate our journeys as we would for ourselves: with high professional quality, personal attention, and a rock-solid companion of curiosity and love. We travel to places that have called out to us, and it fills us with excitement to think that we can share the experience with you. We also invite partner professionals to ensure a quality experience alongside us.
The genre of travel retreats is quite unique. The landscapes and culture serve as canvases for self-discovery, where the external and internal converge, providing space for renewal and a change of perspective. We process our experiences through regular group sessions. The modalities we employ include integrative psychodrama, constellation work, dance therapy, movement meditation, and guided imagination to help you find new answers by formulating your questions. We integrate creative arts practices into the self-discovery process, deepening your understanding of yourself. We also connect with ancient spiritual traditions in the shadows of shrines and temples.
We organise retreats to locations that has a genuine impact on us. We belive that the personal touch is essential.
Recent and near future retreats visit Morocco, Egypt, the Maldives, Ladakh and Vietnam.

SPIRITUAL SELF-AWARENESS RETREAT IN EGYPT
07/04/25-20/04/25
TRANSFORMATION IN THE CYCLE OF LIFE AND DEATH
On this journey, we will explore Cairo’s diverse world, numerous pyramids, ancient temples, monuments, and tombs, the vastness of the desert, the cooling waters of the Nile, and the breathtaking richness of the Red Sea.
These locations serve as canvases for our self-exploration processes, where the external and internal intertwine, providing space for renewal and a shift in perspective. Our experiences are processed through regular group sessions. Planned activities include bodywork and other movement elements, integrative psychodrama, family constellations, movement meditation, and imaginative techniques, all of which will help guide you in framing your own questions and discovering new pathways in your life. We will integrate creative arts practices into the self-awareness process to deepen your connection with yourself. We will connect with ancient spiritual traditions under the shadows of sanctuaries and temples. The theme of our journey is transformation in the spirit of continuity.
For over 7,000 years, Egypt has been a land of vibrant cultural and spiritual life. Sometimes this flow is intense, other times quieter, but it is always present, like the rising and falling waters of the Nile. Tradition evolves and transforms, sometimes appearing in entirely new religious forms, but always building on what came before, always finding a place for the old in the new. Nowhere else can one experience this vibrant, living civilisation with such intensity. Life finds its way. Our spiritual guides are Isis, Osiris, Anubis, Hermes Trismegistus, and the Desert Fathers, who embrace us in the light of the Sun God.
As we search for our roots, we rediscover our origins, recognising the silver thread of constancy within turbulent change and the eternal content within transformation. In the desert, we turn to dust and rebuild ourselves, setting forth again with a renewed self. There will be time for encounters, quiet reflection, adventure, beauty, and play.
The programme will take place at the following locations: • Giza Plateau – Great Pyramids, Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum • Dashur – Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid • Saqqara – Step Pyramid of Djoser, Serapeum • Abydos – Temple of Seti I, Osireion • Luxor – Valley of the Kings, Karnak, Luxor Temple • Edfu Temple • Kom Ombo Temple • Nile cruise • One night in Bahariya Oasis, followed by the White Desert • Marsa Alam and the Red Sea • Coptic Quarter in Cairo
Guides:
Keira Lee-Botos
I am a spiritual guide, hypnotherapist, integrative psychodrama leader, and restorative conflict resolution and victim support specialist, working both in England and internationally. My toolkit includes drama, family constellations, movement meditation, bodywork, imagination techniques, and meditation. By connecting with the wisdom of your subconscious through metaphorical imagery, I am here to support you in processing your personal, transgenerational, or soul journey traumas, resolving relational difficulties, and exploring different parts of your personality. For me, travel is a spiritual state of being; to be on a journey is to participate in the flow of life. I deeply believe that a well-structured journey can have as much transformative power as many hours of therapy.
Zsüli Wafta
I am a psychologist, psychodrama leader, hypnotherapist, and yoga therapist. My work focuses on inner transformation through altered states of consciousness. I believe that the potential for growth exists within everyone, and it is through connections that we realise this most fully. I am committed to continuously expanding myself and my toolkit to guide you with the method that best suits you on your journey.
Henrik Le-Botos
My artistic practice began with Far Eastern ink painting, though I’ve also explored music and acting. My path eventually led to landscape photography, where I find inspiration in deserts and mountains, capturing anything that catches my eye during our travels. I thrive while on the road, having spent several years travelling, collecting varied and unique travel experiences. I enjoy engaging with cultures in authentic ways through genuine interactions. I aim to introduce our fellow travellers to real encounters with local people, as diverse communities and landscapes offer transformative power in these balanced meetings.
Henrik will also assist you in learning the art of quality landscape photography, ensuring that your travel memories are captured in a special way. At one of our key stops, Henrik will take a portrait of you, which will be yours to keep after post-processing.
